Former Kodak executive brings more than a decade of industry sales experience to Company’s management team
ATLANTA, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — myPhotopipe.com, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MPPC) today announced the addition of industry veteran Bill Jones to its management team. Jones, a nine-year Kodak sales executive who worked on accounts as diverse as Best Buy and AOL, becomes Executive Vice President, Sales at myPhotopipe.com, where he will be responsible for building the Company’s sales channels, including its newly announced wholesale business using the company’s new API toolset.
“This is like building an NFL team,” stated Robert Quick, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. “We started with a core of three brilliant players, then added a vibrant COO, which increased our appeal to a talent like Bill Jones. You don’t attract outstanding talent unless you are good in your own right, and when you have a high-caliber management team, guys like Bill want to join you.”
Jones, a West Point graduate and a community leader, assumes responsibility for all of myPhotopipe.com’s sales silos, including its Sports and Entertainment Prints, used by The Cleveland Browns, The Atlanta Falcons, The Dallas Cowboys, Playboy, High School Musical (Feld Entertainment), The New York Giants, and other professional and entertainment clients; Professional Photography, which serves more than 20,000 studios and professional users; Corporate and Campus, which includes clients such as Rosetta Stone, Georgia Tech and Emory University; and the newly announced Wholesale Division, which began generating orders earlier this month.
“We’ve seen an enormous transformation at myPhotopipe.com, and someone like Bill, with Kodak training and disciplines, just adds fuel to the fire,” added Quick. “He has the contacts, knows exactly where to go, who to talk with, and what you need to do to build a digital media company into a giant.”
The Company recently completed a new set of digital tools, one of which enables branded retailers and photo web sites to smoothly send digital images to the Company’s national lab, where they are processed into professional quality prints. In addition, the Company opened its new Xpress online ordering ahead of schedule and continues to develop its revenue-sharing partnership for “green screen” booths at sports venues.
